The lavender tractor

It seems like Murray, Brian and Scott have started a bit of a theme lately with cool trucks. So I thought I'd raise them a purple tractor :-)

This one is at the Wanaka Lavender Farm - a fantastic gem which we are so lucky to have on our doorstep. I'm thinking of getting a "season's pass", because I'll be going again next week with the Wanaka Painters Group. And the main lavender crops haven't even started flowering yet, so a visit will have to be made next month for that too!

Holiday sketching

Stayed on [extended] family farm. Tiraumea, an hour out of Masterton. Time to sketch, fed the eels off the bridge over their pond, no cell phone coverage - bliss.
