Down Dominion Road
I had lots of fun with this drawing a few months ago at a Big Draw meet up.
Leaning against a lamp post, trying to juggle the sketch and pedestrians and paints. I do find that when I paint to the edges of my book I end up with a more satisfying experience - so long as no one uses my drawings as gospel.

Capturing Fleeting Moments
Since my arrival in New Zealand in February 2012 I have been keeping a visual diary
that I took everywhere with me. I have been drawing in it almost everyday, trying to
capture impressions from my journeys around the country, but also from my every day
life in Auckland...I have kept it simple, using only pencil. This is a selection of entries.

Sandboarding at Lake Waimanu, Bethells Beach
Hostel on Waiheke Island, Oneroa
