Farmers Market

Every saturday morning on a beautiful garden at Riccarton House on Christchurch there is the farmers market and today the weather was perfect. The garden is really pleasant you can find a small river running with some ducks, live music and food smells in the air. For me is always the place to find good bread and chouriços, and of course all the raw, organic, gluten free stuff. Angela also sketched with me, it we had a good time together sharing our experience and drawing techniques.
I hope to see you soon.

  1. Looks and sounds like a pretty nice place to spend a Saturday morning! How do the chouriços compare to Portugal?

  2. Mario, I am especially fond of the fiddly bits on the top of Riccarton House

  3. Mario this is my favourite, of course because I watched the sketch unfold! You captured the scene and the mood of the market really well. I am exploring your technique of paint first, draw later and it is fun.
