Te Henui Cemetery

I too was enjoying the deathly silence at the dead centre of town, along with Brian.
Salaman from the Punjab, died in 1941 after constructing this domed structure surrounded by four minarets at the cost of a small house.  He was a silk merchant, dyer of WWI khaki clothing and herbalist who had brushes with the law.  2000 attended his funeral.  The wooden doors don't quite look the part since the bronze gates were pinched 20 years ago.
