In Christchurch the damaged buildings are demolished using the high reach arm, consisting of three sections or by a telescopic boom, that reaches easyly more than 20 meters high, and a primary tool attached to the base machine (crushers, shears, hammers). It crushes and bites the structure until it falls down, and it goes fast, some days after it´s gone. (Liliana´s drawing on the left Mario´s on top)
