It has been a shy summer so far this year here on the south island, we can have summer and winter days all on the same week, but February is usually the hot month. So now, every day is precious to jump to the water and enjoy. This time we went to the Lyttelton new pools, which has the mountains and the harbor as a background. The kids were happily shouting and the parents were bored waiting. Gouache dry quite fast which is good for a quick sketch, and a the black watercolor gives a bit of drama to the shades.
