Sky Tower

Thought I'd follow Mario's excellent sketch of the Sky Tower from the Hopetoun over bridge (wish I'd thought to sketch there!) by sketching it up close. This is sketched from The Empire Tavern on the corner of Nelson and Victoria streets on a cold windy day accompanied by a latte (this is Auckland after all!).

Sky Tower

Every day hundreds of people visit the sky tower on Auckland, most part of them on that day passed on my back when I was drawing this view and spoke in multiple languages that I didn´t understand, chinese, hindu, japanese... but I guess they all were saying that was crazy drawing every detail. Time goes fast when we are enjoying it.
