Little villages of the Spanish Pyrenees

Village of Plan

Hello everyone!
Renee Walden here, the newest New Zealand correspondent, and I am very happy to have been asked :-)

I'm an artist from Lake Hawea (near Wanaka), but 6 months a year my husband and I live in a little van in Europe and I sketch everywhere we go.

We're almost at the end of this trip and of course I have many sketches. For my first post here, I thought to share some from the Sobrarbe region of the Spanish Pyrenees where we have spent a lot of time. I'll leave you to Google to look up where it is! It has all the ingredients of a perfect destination for us. There's lots of rock climbing and hiking, not many people and plenty of authentic little villages with an abundance of historic buildings. A sketchers paradise.

Next time I'll have some sketches from little mountain villages in France.
